Vishnu Akella is a Michigan-born, Los Angeles-based comedian and writer. His debut stand-up special For You (2022) was featured in The New York Times. In 2024, he performed at the Netflix Is a Joke Festival and released his second special, Escapism. In 2025, his “crowd work” special generated millions of views across Instagram and TikTok. His most recent release is Big Cats (2025). He has previously opened for Hasan Minhaj, Michelle Wolf, and Ken Jeong.
